PE Express has been the eyes, ears, and voice of the Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) community since 1983. Established with the goal of keeping our community informed, we have grown into one of the most trusted local news sources in the region, with 120,000 free copies delivered mostly door to door across Gqeberha every week. This is the biggest single edition distribution figure of a print publication in South Africa.
From local governance to community heroes and celebrations, PE Express is committed to sharing the stories that define our town. As the leading local publication, we make it our duty to inform, inspire, and connect the residents of Gqeberha and give them a voice and platform for issues that are close to their homes and hearts.
