SAPS Mount Road detectives opened a case of murder after the body of a man was found in Cotswold with multiple gunshot wounds on Saturday afternoon, 11 March.
According to Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, police spokesperson, it is alleged that at approximately 16:30 SAPS Mount Road responded to a complaint in William Street, Cotswold.
“On arrival the community pointed out the body of a man, lying next to a fence, with multiple gunshot wounds. No witnesses came forward, however, residents in the area heard gunshots. The investigation is ongoing,” said Janse van Rensburg.
The name of the deceased will only be released once the next of kin is informed.
