A Gqeberha scrapyard businessowner was kidnapped, and his son (33) was shot dead in Hart Street, Sidwell at approximately 13:30 today, October 3.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu confirmed that there was a murder and kidnapping in Hart Street in Sidwell.
“We just know that the son was gunned down. We are possibly looking for a white Toyota Corolla vehicle, with about six men inside,” said Naidu.
She further said that they are uncertain of the motive behind the kidnapping and murder.
“This is a Hawks investigation,” she added.
