GQEBERHA – The family of Mynie Steffens (43), who tragically died in a helicopter crash on a farm outside Patensie in the Eastern Cape on 10 November, will be hosting a celebration of her life.
The celebration will take place on 14 November in Walmer, Gqeberha.
Steffens, a well-known helicopter pilot and instructor, was also the published author of the book “Mynie Plays With Fire” and a TV presenter on the DStv show “Speel met Vuur“.
She tragically died when her helicopter struck power lines and crashed during a routine crop-dusting operation on Roodegrond farm near Patensie.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli confirmed that police have opened an inquest docket following the incident.
Steffens’ celebration of life will take place at 15:00 at 46 7th Avenue, Walmer, Gqeberha.
Parking will be available around Clarendon Primary School.
