Police have confirmed the couple that died yesterday, May 13, after a vehicle collided with them while taking a walk with their dog has been identified as Manfred Meyer (42) and Leigh Meyer (39).
As previously reported by the Express, the incident happened at about 18:24, when the driver of a VW Golf TDI suffered an alleged medical condition while driving on Warbler Street, in the direction of Westering, and collided with the pedestrians.
The family has requested that the media please give them time for grieving and not contact them at this stage.
