Just after 08:00 this morning, SAPS Algoa Park responded to a kidnapping incident at Happydale Special School. SAPS Spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge confirmed that a 45-year-old female staff member was abducted by at least three male suspects just after arriving at the school in her grey Toyota Fortuner.
“The suspects using a white Toyota Corolla forcefully took her into their vehicle and fled the scene again.
No ransom have been demanded yet,” Beetge revealed.
CCTV footage of the incident has been widely shared on social media.
He added that a case of kidnapping has been opened by SAPS Algoa Park and is being investigated by the SAPS Provincial Organised Crime Investigation (POCI) Unit.
