The rain, wind and wet field didn’t stop the U19 rugby sides of Grey High and Framesby to produce yet another humdinger.
For the third year in a row there were only two points separating the sides when the final whistle blew at the Kolisi Field at Grey in Gqeberha on Saturday afternoon.
This time the result went the way of Grey. They won 19-15, their first win over Framesby after three consecutive losses.
With six minutes left Framesby was leading 15-14 but flanker Cody Wilmot then scored his third try to seal the deal for Grey.
In another wet field battle in Gqeberha, Pearson did a great job to draw 10-10 with Graeme College from Makhanda.
