The body of a man in his twenties with several gunshot wounds was found in the Walmer Township yesterday, May 6.
According to a police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, at about 13:45, the unknown man was found in an open field between the airport runway and Airport Valley.
Beetge said the gunshot wounds were to his head and upper body.
“A murder case was opened and is being investigated by SAPS Walmer.”
