The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha is seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 16-year-old girl, Veronica September, who has been missing since Saturday, March 1.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, it is alleged that September (nicknamed “Stukkie Mens”), from Riemvasmaak Extension 29, left her home for a sleepover at a friend’s house and never returned home.
Janse van Rensburg stated that she was reported missing by her mother on Sunday, March 2, at SAPS Bethelsdorp after all efforts to locate her were in vain.
“According to information, she was seen yesterday, March 5, in the vicinity of Rholihlahla Village, Missionvale,” she revealed.
“She was dressed in a pink dress,” Janse van Rensburg added. “Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Veronica September to urgently contact D/Sgt Jason Kivedo at 078 959 1727, Crime Stop at 08600 10111, or their nearest police station.”
