Fans were on their feet when they saw Uitenhage Kings Basketball Club A claim a 47–30 victory over Invaders Basketball Club.
It was a one-sided affair, after Gemineyez Ladies earned a comprehensive 59–25 victory against the University of Fort Hare Ladies.
Zwide Eagles Basketball Club, which is a major force to be reckoned with this season, took New Brighton Knights Basketball Club to the cleaners after they handed them a huge 62–38 defeat.
The home side supporters of PE Comets Basketball A Club were highly enchanted after their side did not disappoint them as it taught University of Fort Hare Basketball Club a free basketball lecture in their 69–22 victory.
Nelson Mandela Bay Basketball Association secretary told PE Express that he was extremely happy to see spectators coming in their numbers to watch the games despite the bad weather conditions.
