NELSON Mandela Bay Industrial Football League invites all its members to attend its annual general meeting (AGM), which will be held at the Gelvandale Swimming Pool Hall on Sunday, March 14, at 10:00.
According to the NMB Football League president, Sello Mokhosi, the meeting is to alert the members of the upcoming start of the 2021 season, since the 2020 season could not start because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Mokhosi urged the league’s members to be represented by one delegate per company as they would be able to practise social distancing.
He emphasised that all delegates should wear face masks during the AGM.
He said, “We look forward to welcoming new companies, which have shown interest in joining the league. We saw 24 company teams joining the league in 2019.
“This year, we hope to have more than 30 affiliates in our league. I would like urge those companies, which have received an invitation and registration documents, to bring them along with them to the meeting since we want to complete registration as soon as possible.
