Nelson Mandela Bay’s most iconic Women’s Day celebration, the Pretty in Pink Ladies’5km, proudly presented by Pick n Pay, is gearing up to deliver its biggest and most impactful event yet on Saturday, August 9, 2025 – and it’s all happening from the newly appointed venue, the King’s Beach, Summerstrand.
Zsports Events SA is thrilled to announce two dynamic women who will be headlining the stage on race day: Niqui Cloete-Barrass as MC and Tisha Qozeleni as the official event DJ. Both women bring talent, energy and authenticity to the programme, embodying the 2025 theme: Wildly Inspired!
A celebrated performer, singer and motivational host, Niqui Cloete-Barrass brings her unmistakable voice, wit and warmth to the mic, setting the tone for a day of unity, energy and celebration. Adding to the momentum is the ever-vibrant DJ Tisha Qozeleni, who will keep the vibe alive with her signature sound and high-energy mixes throughout the morning from the Vodacom Gig Rig!
In a further boost to this year’s entertainment lineup, LuisterFM will be doing a live on-site broadcast from the event, capturing the excitement and atmosphere as it unfolds, bringing the Pretty in Pink experience to listeners across the region in real time.
This year’s event promises more than just movement. With a strong focus on purpose-driven participation, the Pretty in Pink Ladies’ 5km supports key female-focused charities: Vision4Women and PinkDrive.
Participants can look forward to a flat, scenic 5km route ideal for all fitness levels, from first-time walkers to seasoned runners. Ladies who enter before Wednesday, August 6, will receive a complimentary race t-shirt and a premium goody bag.
