Gqeberha police have confirmed reports of a seafood business owner in Sidwell being kidnapped today, March 1. Where the victim was taken by a group of five armed men.
In a media statement released by SAPS, police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu said, it is alleged that at about 07:15, this morning, the owner of a seafood store on Crichton Street in Sidwell was allegedly kidnapped by five men as he was about to open the store.
” The armed suspects, driving a silver Chev Cruz vehicle forced the victim into their vehicle and drove off,” said Naidu.
“A case of abduction was opened at SAPS Algoa Park.”
