A 38-year-old suspect is appearing in court today, June 9, following the murder of his girlfriend in Kuyga, Gqeberha.
According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 09:20, SAPS Kabega Park responded to a complaint of domestic violence at Nzotoyi Street, Kuyga.
“On arrival, a member of the community pointed the members to a room, where they found the deceased (37) with serious injuries to her head,” she said.
Janse Van Rensburg added, “While members were busy at the scene, the suspect came back and was pointed out by the community and was arrested.”
The suspect (38) is appearing in the Gqeberha Magistrates’ Court today, June 9, on charges of murder.
