Three unknown bodies were discovered by Gqeberha police in bushes next to the R334 yesterday, May 26.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, at about 07:00, police stationed in Swartkops were on a routine patrol when they discovered the bodies that were burnt via tyre method.
Beetge said that they were discovered after police went to investigate smoke coming from the bushes 1 km from the R335 and R334 crossing.
According to Beetge, it is suspected that all three were males.
“A postmortem will be conducted to establish cause of death,” said Beetge.
Beetge further added that the murder cases were opened and will be investigated by SAPS Swartkops.
