GQEBERHA – SAPS have confirmed that a circulating social media video depicts an alleged kidnapping incident that occurred today, the 30 October, in Parkside, Gqeberha.
SAPS spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said, “The South African Police Service can confirm that an investigation into a kidnapping reported today, the 30 October 2025, in Parkside is underway.”
She added that no ransom demand has been received at this stage.
