Two 10-year-old siblings were struck by a vehicle on the R75 near Dora Nginza Hospital on March 26.

Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge said that at approximately 14:30, SAPS KwaDwesi attended to an accident where the two children were reportedly hit by a white Ford Ranger driven by a 55-year-old man.

Beetge stated that the children, a brother and sister, were pronounced dead at the scene.

“A culpable homicide case has been opened and is being investigated by SAPS KwaDwesi,” he added.
