Curro Westbrook High School proudly embarked on an exciting new chapter with the official opening of our long-anticipated new high school building on May 13.

According to a statement issued by the institution, these modern classrooms and spacious corridors mark the beginning of a fresh era—a vibrant space where our students will capture knowledge, embrace innovation, and strive for academic excellence.

The statement explained that since Curro Westbrook High School’s inception as a small school under the visionary leadership of Executive Head Mr van der Walt, Curro Westbrook has grown steadily, maintaining a strong commitment to quality education and holistic development.

“Our new building features state-of-the-art classrooms designed specifically for 21st-century learning, supporting a blended approach that combines traditional teaching with innovative digital tools. At the heart of this development is our first-of-its-kind Physical Science Laboratory, with a special focus on Chemistry, providing students with hands-on scientific experiences that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding,” van der Walt explained.

“This milestone represents one of many progressive steps forward as Curro Westbrook continues to build a lasting legacy—one that will withstand the test of time and prepare our learners to become confident, capable leaders of tomorrow,” van der Walt added.
