The vehicles involved in the Greenacres jewelry shop business robbery have been recovered yesterday, 2 October.
According to an Atlas security statement, while on patrol, an Atlas security guard on patrol in Central noticed a suspicious black VW Polo with a passenger window open. “On closer investigation, the vehicle matched the description of one involved in the robbery. Nearby, a white Toyota Etios, also linked to the case, was found abandoned,” the statement added.

The statement added that there was backup that was called in immediately, and the scene was secured. Gqeberha police then arrived schorted and the vehicles were towed as a part of the investigation.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, confirmed the incident, stating that both vehicles were confiscated for further investigation.
