SAPS Walmer detectives are on the hunt for two alleged murder suspects who shot and killed a 35-year-old Walmer man on Friday evening, 4 June.
According to Col. Priscilla Naidu, police spokesperson, it is alleged that at about 21:40 Hlumelo Veto stopped in Popo Molefe Street in Walmer location and as he got out of his white Corsa vehicle and walked towards a house, gunshots were heard.
“Veto started running towards the gate with two armed men shooting at him. He died of multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.”
Police said the motive for his murder is yet to be established and no suspects have been arrested.
