In
the most emphatic fashion, Red Bull athlete and Springbok captain Siya Kolisi
was surprised with a limited edition Red Bull Energy Drink can, featuring his
likeness.
Kolisi was at Hamilton’s Rugby Club, Cape Town under the pretence of
an interview, when fellow Red Bull athlete and paraglider, Veselin Ovcharov
swooped in and presented him with the can.
Kolisi
was mid video interviews when he looked up to see Ovcharov gliding through the
air above him – having launched from Signal Hill minutes earlier.
Unbeknownst
to Kolisi, the Bulgarian paraglider was carrying a cold can of Kolisi’s limited
edition Red Bull Energy Drink can where he presented it to him as he
landed.
“Today I thought I was going for interviews and instead I was surprised with my own Red Bull Can. I’m really touched – I still can’t believe it! I’m proud and grateful to be part of this team,” Kolisi said.
