Ster-Kinekor is bringing India and KZN to you this month with the release of the romantic drama, “Dhadak” on 20 July, followed by the hilarious local production, “Broken Promises 4 Ever”, which releases on 27 July.

Dhadak:
Dhadak, lives up to its Hindi/English translation, ‘Heartbeat’. The film is a remake of the 2016 Marathi language film “Sairat”. Set in city of Udaipur, Rajastan, the story is about first and forbidden love. And while there is merriment in the singing and dancing scenes, the film delves into issues of caste and honour killings.
Broken Promises 4 Ever:
The Padayachee family is back and funnier than ever in this, the fourth installment of the local “Broken Promises” film franchise. Directed by Kumaran Naidu, “Broken Promises 4 Ever” tells a story that will resonate with the South African Indian community.
