Michaela Kluit, a 20-year-old social worker student is completely dedicated to serving her community.
In her nomination letter, sent by Elizabeth Kluit, it was said that Michaela volunteers her Saturdays with the Just In Time Foundation at AFM church in Booysens Park by providing prayer, counseling and a listening ear.
“Without charging a fee, she goes above and beyond to provide emotional support and care to those who need it most. Additionally, she collects donations to bless others with essential items like shoes and clothing,” the nomination letter said.
According to Elizabeth, Michaela is already making a tangible difference in the lives of those around her.
“Her kindness, compassion and generosity inspire me daily, and I believe she deserves recognition and support for her outstanding work,” the letter added.
